Can I replace guibo without dropping the whole steering system inside the car? my car is a 1991 e30 318is.

Yep. Loosen the adjuster nut on the steering wheel & pull the whole shaft out.
It's right in the middle of Part #1 on this diagram. (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=AJ93&mospid=47318&btnr=32_0480&hg=32&fg=30) Sometimes that coupler is practically welded onto the steering shaft.

It may be worth fitting an aluminium or polly upgraded replacement. You'll never have to change it again and it will add some response to the steering.
