Title: Driver's side window

My BMW 318vert windows go down about 1cm when the door is opened and the window is all the way up. When the door closes, the window goes back up. This feature has stopped working on the driver's side. Any thoughts for a fix?

There is a small switch inside the door latch that is attached to the door jamb that controls that feature.  I have had to replace it on my e36.
