Title: Lower chain housing install question

When installing lower timing chain housing does factory recommend using any sealant? Particularly on water jacket area? Advice or recommendations appreciated. GS

When I installed mine, I only used Permatex® High Tack™ Spray-A-Gasket™ Sealant to hold the paper gasket in place.  I did spray it on both sides though.  So far it has held up, but I only have about an hour on the rebuild. ;)
