UPDATE - This is an old thread but has been updated as of 6/22/2013
Hi folks,
I am selling my baby. She is a 1991 (4/90 build) 318is with approximately 165k miles on the clock (the odo says 136,200-ish it was repaired). She was purchased in April 2010 from Texas and was registered in NYC for a few months while I was living there. I then moved to NJ and she's been registered here since. Most of the major stuff has been taken care of. This car makes a great daily driver and is in excellent mechanical shape! While this car needs cosmetic work, the mechanical stuff is in excellent shape. You will not find a car with this much work done to it, full history and records (since new), window sticker no body rush at this price. I have replaced this car with an E39 and no longer need it. Most of the recent work has been done at none other than Guten Parts (GPS) in South Orange, NJ.
PS - I believe in honesty and therefore I am laying out all the cards on the table with this car. Feel free to post or PM with any questions.

that much interest eh?
-
Well it has only been advertised for 2 days so don't expect someone to buy it immediately plus you want them to buy it but wait a couple of weeks before they actually get the car? Also, IMHO, I think $3500 is too much for a car that has body damage, non working AC, leaking PS and non operative odometer. I gave less than $3000 for my last iS that needed nothing and had 134K miles.
-
I appreciate the feedback. $3500 is a good starting point for negotiation.

Bumpity!
-
Fix the odometer and will likely get the asking price in the open market. You will likely get less here but you'll know the car will be taken care of for long time. GL with the sale.
