Title: Window covering removal
Post by: Ada_CZ on August 13, 2011, 02:14:27 AM
Hello e30 fans,

i see a lot of you have experiences with repainting, so i think there would be kind person who would help me with vehicle trim.
Due to some rust free operation i had to repair upper corner of driver-side doors and my window upper covering trim (http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E30/2-doors/Europe/318is-M42/LHD/M/1991/march/browse/vehicle_trim/exterior_trim/ #4) was damaged a bit. I think it can by removed from the door, but i do not know how - simply, i have to push it? or is there any clamp or somethink i have to release?

If there be someone willing to help me, optionally i want to remove panel number 5.

Thank you guys.

Hi,
thank you for your answer... I can lift it a bit, but it is hard to push it out, so i rather try to repair the paint without disassembly
