Title: What series Battery for a 318 vert?

Hey Guys,

I keep finding different Series numbers for the battery in my 318ic.  The one in there now is a Pick-ur-Part unit that was obviously just tossed in to move the car.  This one is mounted in the engine compartment not the trunk.  Autozone says 48 series, Napa says 91 series and Realoem looks like 50 series but I can't tell if that is a BMW number or actual battery series.   Any idea what was original?

Also, does anyone still have the Heat insulation box that went around it?  I would love to see what that looks like.  Leave it to BMW to put a heat shield on the engine compartment battery.  Love that German engineering!

My Interstate battery guide is showing a Series 91... Showing same online too.
