Hey i was jus wondering if anyone had an idea of why my 318is badge is on the driver side above the muffler, every other one ive seen its on the passenger side, its all stock so i have no clue
-
Most likely the deck lid has been painted.
-
Rare factory option.
-
I've never seen any BMW with the model name to the left. Odd customizing, eh?
-
You normally see this with BMW or any cars that have had a paint job. The old one has to come off and then the stick it on the wrong side or someone changed their mind on location. All BMWs have the model info on the right.

Thanks guys, one more ?, wats the proper psi for my tires, theres no sticker in my door sill
-
I pump mine up to max cold psi for highway, it's on the tire sidewall. I tend toward about 30-33psi for tooling around town. High pressure tends to wear out the middle of the tread.
-
stock is 30 all around also on stock size tire. Depending on how you drive and your goal, you can bump it up. I personally use 32F/31R.
-
I usually run 29 in the front, and 32 in the rear. If you pump up too much in the front, it can be harsh, the lower pressure eases bumps nicely. Don't forget, that when the tires get warm, your PSI increases about 2-3 PSI.

I run 32 square, but I will try lowering the fronts to 29 and see how that changes the feel. Thanks for the idea, as I do a lot of stop'n'go city driving on crappy roads.
