Title: Anyone Have the "AFM Extension Cord" On Their Car?
Post by: bmwman91 on July 10, 2011, 12:01:04 PM
I've noticed that some M42 AFMs have an extension cord thingy between them & the ECU harness. If you have one, can you do me a favor and look inside the male end (the end of the extension that plugs into the ECU harness) and either take a picture of the numbers, or post the BMW PN in here? It would also be cool if you could pull back the rubber boot & post the AMP PN molded onto the back side. Thanks!

I pulled mine when I got the car to troubleshoot a no-start issue.  It was waterlogged & setting AFM 1915 errors.  If I can dig it out I'll get the info for you later today.

Sweeeeet. Thanks! I think that this MAF kit will end up being plug & play after all.
