Post by: chapellej on April 24, 2011, 01:09:26 PM
i changed the starter and turned the car over it tryed a couple of time and ran for about 3 seconds then died, now it wont crank at all. i turn the key and nothing at all. So i pulled everything off again went through all the plugs and wires to make sure it was correct and reinstalled the intake etc and still nada. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I also eliminated the starter relay as it new and i have a spare new one as well.

Check the ground strap.  When they corrode, resistance goes up & the car won't start.

Could be EWS too...check this link out:

Battery is a popular problem too...if it's a borderline battery & goes too far below 12v the under-voltage relay breaks the starter circuit.
