Title: FS: m42 head w/cam tray & 1 crack
Post by: monty23psk on April 21, 2011, 08:02:34 PM
Hey guys,

This head was rebuilt less than 3 years ago and I had a bad temp gauge sender so I ran it hotter a few times, but never all the way into the red. It got a small crack on cylinder 2. It is repairable, as I found out from they same machine shop I took it the first time. It was just more expensive compare to a head I was able to get. It is a head from 92. Comes with the cam trays, camshaft caps and nuts. No camshaft. I just feel bad throwing it away. The car still ran very strong but would start warming up in traffic. Also ran the coolant pressure test and it would loose pressure over a long period. Willing to take offers. I was thinking $20 plus shipping.

Here are a few pics.
