I have a spare vacuum port on the throttle body after I cleaned up the mess under the intake, thanks to this thread (http://www.m42club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2742).

So, what should I put here? Plug it, maybe?
Otherwise, does anyone see anything amiss so far?

I think that one goes to the vacuum canister.

I think that one goes to the vacuum canister.
What vacuum canister? Is it necessary?
Forgive me; I'm new to the M42 world and I didn't remove this engine from its donor car.

There's a purge valve and a vac can under the P/S reservoir on the stock car. If you don't have a vapor recovery system off the gas tank you have little need for it. I'd plug it if that's the case.

Perfect. Thanks!

Here's a pix of the canister. It has a short piece of hose (with a one way valve I'm guessing) and then runs to the TB.
