My big o-ring was nice & round from the PO, it's been pretty round every time since then.  The little one seems to always get pretty beat up though.

I wish I saw this a few day ago. I just changed my oil and didn't take pix like I usually do of work in progress. The large old one was flat and the new one was round. The small one was still round.

I do have the old o-rings if you want pix of those.

First off sorry for the thread jack.
I m looking to change the gasket and o ring on the filter housing that mates up to the block. Is there 1 oring in there or two.(24x3)
Pelican site says two per car but Im thinking only one.

TIA

I always use mann filters an they come with new o-rings. After like 6 m42 oil changes i never saw one that looked out of round/flattened, and I've gone 12k plus on mobil 1.
