Title: Front bumper and valence removal request
Post by: FL318is on September 28, 2006, 06:29:44 PM
Hey guys,

Finally going to get around to the elips this weekend.  Was hoping to save time and remove the front bumper and the valence.  Wanted to get to the fogs with the valance off of the car.  Has anyone done this or are these items attached to the body frame?  On the E46 the front end is detachable.

The fogs mount to the valance...  Lots of little bolts holding it all in, and you have to 'convince' the valance out from the fenders, since they wrap around the top of the valance a little.

Kind of a pain, but not impossible.

Looks like more stuff I could break.  Think I'll use the creeper.  Its an original Snap-On made of wood.  Kinda nice garage item.
