hello,
i'm really happy to have found this forum; it's already helped me answer a lot of questions i've had about my m42 (d/s of course).
just had a quick question about interior lights.
do e30's have interior lights for the temp/fan controls below the stereo?
when i first got my car, i just thought the bulbs were out. do any of you guys have interior lights there?

The panel does light up. Have you looked at:

#27 is a bulb. I suspect it "could" be the bulb or maybe a fuse. Wait before you tear anything apart and let some of the other guys chime in.

thanks for the link.
so it does light up! interesting!
do you think it's just one bulb, or more than one?

there are two bulbs there .the one behind the temp knob is easily reachable after you remove the stereo .the other one behind the fan knob is harder to replace unless you have small hands .
There is a write up on this on one of the other forums but I can't remember which one.
hope this helps:) i found it
