So i live in Pittsburgh Pa and all my friends from Pittspeed.com are into LS1 swaps.. They swap them into anything RWD pretty much and are Beasts on the road and track... My one friend steve has a 1994 318it that we did a LS1 swap in.. Does anyone one here have or going to do that swap in an E30 body??? I already found a drop out and wondering if anyone has pics or info on the swap...   All Motor power is the best way i'd like to go :cool:

Its nice to go to the parts store tho and not have to get something special ordered or find out they cant even get it anymore ;) doing the swap is just a thought.. tell me 400whp all motor wouldnt be nice with a 6speed tranny still getting 22-24mpg

They have kits for this out already. Search on R3V, comes with a book with pinouts and instructions.

thanks I'll have to sign on that site and check it out.. ?? tho?  does the Z3 use the same mounts as the M42?? If so a guy in pittsburgh is selling a SR20 swap with mounts.. another thought if anyones looking for one..
