Title: sidemarker lights?

so, i was looking through some e30 pics and noticed some (ones from Australia i know for sure, maybe the UK ones too?) came with those turn signal lights on the fender.  im in the US so it doesnt have them, but for some reason I really like the way they look. i eBay'd them and all of them on there are just the clear lense/smoked lense replacements for people who have them.   i wouldnt mind the smoked, but it doesnt come with wiring and stuff.  

anyone have any ideas on this?  there any write-ups?  where could I get these?  anyone want to sell me theirs? haha.

am i dumb for thinking these look cool? LOL.

I'd be willing to bet it uses the same wiring, but I have none to sell.  I agree that they look nicer.  My minivan has them and I think they're great.

I have a set of ambers left if you are interested.  I had some clears but those sold already.  I loved em before I went to m3 fenders.  Anything to help stupid ppl see your car turning...
