'95 318iC M42 148k mi. Family car, well maintained, good compression, good blackstone UOA. New spark plugs (ngk types, the right ones). New air/fuel filters. I mean new like in the past month. I just cleaned the ICV and replaced the intake/manifold gaskets in the process. Cleaned ICV hoses and noticed barely any buildup on intake/hoses (I had a previous 91 M42 with tons of buildup so I know).

hum hum hum hum MISS hum hum hum hum MISS - that's about how it goes. Once in a while it stalls out when cold at a stoplight. Stomped the pedal 5 times, 1444. No codes.

what to check now? Is there a way to test coil packs? Don't want to throw money away.
