How does the trunk organizer fit in there?  On top of the battery cover?  Or does this replace it?

it doesnt fit the cars that have the battery in the trunk so it pretty much rules out all
m42s it was on my 85 318i and was in the space now occupied by the battery

Ah, I see.  Maybe change your post to "cars without batteries in the trunk."
