Title: will E36 M42 intake clear hood E30 ?

I have read some topics about this but there is no one who really answers the question, does the E36 M42 intake fit in a E30 ( 316i in my case ) ?

Some people say it doesn't clear the hood, but no one confirms this.

Some one else told me the intake won't clear the brake booster.

Can somebody help give a clear answer on this topic so it will done with for good ?

Do you have or could you take a picture from below your hood so I can see how you fixed that problem ?

Post by: NisseJärnet on December 07, 2010, 01:35:49 PM: It clears both the hood and break booster, atleast in a lhd using M40 mounts and brackets. (should be the same with M42 E30 mounts and brackets)
