Title: Can someone please measure their oil dipstick length for me?

I think I have the wrong one, it should take around 4.5 quarts, and my dipstick wants 6 to be full. Thanks.

From end to end its 19in  from tip to full mark its 2in hope this helps

i always had this sinking feeling mine was wrong too.. i'll have to measure mine in the morning as well

Thanks bmwm42, just for clarification, thats 19 inches from bottom tip to the top of the plastic that you put your finger through? Or 19 inches of actual metal stick? Thanks again.
