Without accessories. Does anyone know for sure?

I did not find any info with the search.

That seems much lighter than I originally thought. I was thinking more along the lines of 350.

Does 226lbs sound right to the rest of you?

BTW thanks DSM.

Wait, I just found a post from SheepDog saying 250-280.

I'm trying to justify doing something kinda stupid. But our motor is too light. I can't believe i'm complaining about this.

Okay, so I just checked that site for the US spec motor and it comes back at 242lbs. The problem is, the M20 comes back at 257lbs.

Really? Only 15lbs different! Something is horribly wrong here.

I'll have to figure this out the old school way.

242 vs 257? That can't be right.

M42 and M20 both complete and with transmissions.

That M42 trans looks awfully small. Maybe its just the image. In that case, the trannys would be close in weight. So I'm guessing the M42 is in the 360-375 range. Not much less than the LS3.

I have a Getrag 250 out in the car with an M20 clutch...I'll have to weigh it & see what we're talking about here.  From lifting it in and out of the car I'd say it's about 50 pounds sans clutch.
