Body colour.
Or, use contrasting colour, like a bright red lip on a silver car, or dark blue lip on a white car.
-
Pink.
Oh, sorry, not a choice. I'd go with black. I think it makes the car look slimmer.
-
Lip = black
Trunk spoiler = body color
-
I have to agree with the people saying black lip
-
I dunno, I had 2 white E30s both with a body colored lip. I think it looked MUCH better. I'm planning on doing mine body color on my diamond schwartz when I get to painting it. In the mean time, I did it with the SEM stuff.
Both look good, but I think the body color is better. I'd say if you want to change it up, perhaps paint the brake cooling ducts.

Body color looks way better on Alpine White. Can't say for the other colors.
-
I like them both. The black lip would follow the rest of the original paint, though, with the bottom of the car being black.
I do prefer the black lip though. I think it looks a bit more sporty and compliments the impact strips as well in the front.
That said, it's not like I haven't seen pics which make me want to paint my lip white..
All up to personal preference.
Here's mine. Black ftw :)

My vote is for body color on the is lip ... D'schwartz just like LTS! Do it.
-
depends how often u go on long distance drives beyond legal speed limit... Stone chips on the lips would be quite noticeable since the paint on the plastic lip would be softer...

I've also contemplated this same question. What do you guys think about my maroon vert? Leave it black or match it? For the record, my trunk spoiler is black too.
