Title: mtech1 steering wheel removal

i found an m-tech 1 steering wheel in junk yard, perfect condition, no key, the 22 mm. bolt came out but wheel is locked up and will not come out, any suggestions??  thanx

If you figure this one out I'm interested...if you drilled the locking bolt out of the steering column or cracked the support pin you'd be set.  I've seen them pull the ignition lock with a big screw and a slide hammer (in the movies)...

Maybe a cutting wheel on the top of the lock mechanism could chop the lever that engages the steering lock?

In the past, I have used a big flatblade screwdriver and a hammer.  Just slam the screwdriver into the key slot and turn.
