Can you post more pictures that aren't all "artsy"? Specifically the interior?

How many miles?

What? I chose these photos because they show the mods and overall condition of the car. I will take an interior shot when I get home this evening as I don't like taking shitty photos with my phone.

The car has 290k miles on it, but you would never know it. It has good compression accross all 6 cylinders and doesn't burn oil. The previous owner told me he rebuilt the head, but he didn't provide me with any paperwork. The transmission shifts like butter, however the shifter bushings are worn.

Cool. Thanks.

I have an e30 with a newly rebuilt engine. Maybe 4-5k on it now. Mint interior, tons of suspension mods, killer stereo, etc.

No prob. is your car a 318is? Any pics? Also, I am looking for a local trade. Are you in Portland?

Thanks

I would trade you in a heartbeat, and I would say Mr Copperwheat has a car much more worthy of trade.

I would not be able to trade/purchase until late spring 2011 anyway :(

Yeah, I'm up in Portland.

I'd be interested in seeing more pictures. It's not that far to SF.

Oh Crap! I completely forgot to include a very important point in my ad.

I really don't like tan interiors. Sorry KenCopperwheat, unfortunately, I will have to pass. I found your rebuild thread...I will update my ad.

Thanks,
Art

Word. No prob.

You mentioned wanting better mpg. Just as an FYI, the m42 gets about 25combined.

Yeah, man. Sorry, your car is very very nice, but I have swapped out an entire (tan) interior before and it is something I would rather avoid doing.

Hhhmmm, only 25mpg huh? That is bad news. I am averaging 22ish with a heavy foot and 80% highway. For some reason I recall my 318is averaging closer to 29. Its been years though and I didn't really pay as much attention to my gas mileage as I do now haha.

Yeah, it's not the most efficient engine.

Straight freeway you'll get 28-32 depending on your speed.

Combined I get 24-26 over a tank. EPA rating is 19/city

So what would you take as a straight cash sale? I would trade you my car, but you'd have a project again, and I'm in WI, which makes for a hell of a meet up.

I'll leave my ad up for a few more days. If I don't get any bites, I am just going to keep her and try to slow down to improve my gas mileage haha.
