hey man, welcome aboard... it's great to see you here. Always glad to hear from a fellow D/S sunroof-free owner...
I'm fedexing some sodium penathol over... drop it in your coffee tomorrow, then spill your guts about your 'alleged' 318is... WE DEMAND DETAILS!

sounds interesting. pics? details?

funny guy! I was worried for a bit when I saw the chrome rims and the bra.
-
hah, you car reminds me of mine so much it's not even funny. Same wheels, same color, same stance with the suspension too. I guess you need to do some aesthetic mods now so it doesn't look like mine.

This is the exact reason why I went with the all red MHW lights in the rear. There aren't many people who have them.

Love the wheels, gorgeous car. Thanks for the chip, small gain, but I love the new redline.

Installs just like any other SSK but it is much taller than the stock shifter while still having a shorter throw. I like it. The shifter is close to the wheel and easy to reach. Feels like a rally car :D

I may have to do that X5 shifter install. That's cool as hell. How's the throw?
-
some before/after measurements
..........Before After
1-2--- 4.5"-- 3.75"
3-4 ---5" ----4"
height 5.875"- 7"
*throw measured at the top of the shift knob
*height measured from console to top of knob

oh, this sounds the nuts... I always wanted a setup like that... part #'s please?!!
-
what kind of rims are those on your car? I see those alot, and I like the style.
-
tasteful and useful mods, and doing what it should be doing (track) Awesome man. Got a strut bar? if not, it's a great addition to the suspension, makes the front that much stiffer. How big are the sways? There stills seems to be a lot of body roll (though I've never seen mine from the outside while cornering and I have the ST bars) Saw a difference with the fan delete? and more info on those Delta Cams please. How heavy are those wheels? Dimensions? I love your car man.

25117543190 or 25111434624
i dont know anything about x5 shifters but those PNs were on realoem.
this link is for a 2000 X5 3.0i. i think only the 3.0's had the manual trannys.
