Title: How much is rear end worth

I'm debating parting out my 318is or just selling it as a whole. I have an interested buyer for my rear end, 4.10 Lsd. Wondering if someone can give me a ball park price of what I should get for it. about 165k miles on it.

I'd sell it whole, unless the body is rusting in the frame rails.

I've seen 4.10 LSD's go for $300, but that was before the economy tanked.

Hey +1 to what Dave said.  I bought mine a year ago for 300 shipped, so anywhere between 200 - 300 if the spider gears are good and the diff was well cared for.  Personally I wouldnt pay more than 100 for one that has seen track days, etc ... so if it is well cared for I say you shoot for 300~!
