Title: E36 M42 RHD Exhaust Manifold Query
Post by: Wizzer on August 18, 2010, 11:00:14 AM
Hi Guys. My 1994 E36 M42 manifold has cracked badly. I have sourced a good pre owned manifold however it is off 1997 M44. Will it fit onto my 1994 M42? Any advice would be great.

The exhaust manifold from the M44 engine fitted my M42 perfectly without any modifications needed

Is it true that the M44 manifold for LHD & RHD are the same part numbers? Pelican Parts have got a M44 manifold for about USD$300-400 brand new.

LHD and RHD manifolds are different in design... due to the steering coupling..
