I pulled a Manifold header and downpipe from a e36 around 1994 ish(junkyard)
and the manifold is the exact same BUT, the downpipe is slightly different.
Can anyone tell me if they would fit ? has anyone done this before or even tryed this conversion ? :o

The E30/E36 manifolds/headers are different. I had both and tried to fit the E36 headers, but the E30 headers were a much better fit.

the Manifold looks identical, angle and plumbing too close to see any significant difference, Unless you know something that i'm not seeing. However the downpipe is different. shaped different, bung for 02 slightly relocated, and the 2 chambers aren't
angled as much at the bottom as the e30's. I would be inclined to say mabe it will fit ?
has anyone attempted this before, am I in uncharted territory ? or maybe a nut.

Give it a shot and let us know.
I didn't spend a whole lot of time tryign to fit the E36 headers, as I had the E30 headers as well. I just did a quick comparison and it looked like the E36 headers wouldn't be a great fit.
