Does anyone know what the maximum size u can stroke an m42 too. i know there are 2.1 liters out there, but i want something biggggeeeerrrrr!

Hartge did a 2.3 litre.  It has a custom 99.8mm crank. To work in the block there is a block extender ... a thick plate between the head and the block. A search will reveal a bit more.  

Nearly 100mm is a very long stroke.
