Title: Custom Exhaust
Post by: gtatbrissy on August 03, 2010, 03:40:18 AM
Hi all

so i got a new exhaust a few weeks ago and thought i should do a writeup on it. its fully custom made mandrel bent stainless steal. i got a custom made 4-2-1 manifold, the rest of the system is 2 1/4 inch with a small hotdog cat and hurricane muffler. i havent had the car dynoed or anything but you can feel the power difference up on the rev rang. it was done by brian at exhaust innovations in brisbane.

hear are some pics and a video, btw sorry for a crap photos

that was the whole thing but he did it cheap for me because i race my car and i put stickers on it. for the manifold by itself u are looking at around $800. sounds expensive but u wont get a better product. this manifold is proberly the best you can get for this engine

The exhaust ways lest than the oem item... not sure how much less though. The exhaust from the manifold would be about 800. But like i said its the best manifold u could buy.

The steering coupling on the E36 would be at a different position compared to the E30. Actually more space, relatively and would not need to go around the steering coupling...
