Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here has used Reinz gaskets in their m42s. I got slightly worried because I used them on my recent m42 top-end rebuild, and I saw afterwards on another forum a bunch of m20 guys (most of them boosted) complaining about the quality of them and saying they fail a lot. Any experience?
Thanks!

They are OEM and work just fine.. don't compare a turbo'd M20 experience to anything.

I have used them multiple times with no issues. If installed properly, you will have no problems.

Thanks folks! I knew turbo m20 would be different but they were acting like the gaskets were shit.
-
Nah. Good for paper gaskets. I've used them for all of my gasket changes.

All of my m20 used Reinz gaskets, but the m20 reinz head gasket is shit compared to Gotez. But I would not be worried at all with an m42 as they are the OEM supplier.
