Title: Need some help please

I got van jacked on Tuesday and my car keys was in it the van and now they have gone:( the problem I have is I need to change the ignition barrel but don't have the key does anyone know how to remove it with out the key

Just take the title/registration and a photo id to the dealer and order a new set of keys.  shouldn't be that expensive.

+1 on that.  Dealer will hit you with a small bill.  You could likely get a locksmith to the car as well.  It wouldn't be a very good car if you could remove the ignition barrel without a key, eh?

I suppose you could crack the case off the steering column, then punch out the steering lock pin from behind.  After that, just pull the plastic ignition switch off the back of the barrel.  It'll twist freely with no key at all.

I had to drill the lock cylinder on my old jeep... I got lucky though, I can't recommend it, it might only make things worse, and most locksmiths aren't going to listen to any reason you had to drill the cylinder on your own car. They want nothing to do with it. Try the dealer for sure.

Thanks guys but I got lucky in the end with the replacement locks and ignition barrel I got as one of the keys was a skeleton key

locksmith # 1, easy and not too $.
 2, The lock cyl pulls right out of the ignition cyl with a dent puller, or you can push it out with  the little steel ring.
