the group buy thing is a definite possibility. If we can coordinate a little bit we can probably make most minimums; plus it's a good way to spread the word about the board (eg, "there's a group buy over al...")
To make the group buy's work even better, maybe we come up with a list of 'kits' --since our volume will be lower, we can maybe make up for it by putting some items together and then getting price matrices from vendors.
For example, rear subframe bushings, trailing arm bushings, and stainless steel brake lines (dropping the subframe = good time to put in rear SS lines) ...I think we could prolly get a good price on a GB of 8-10 'sets' from one vendor.
anyway, I know the group buy discount thing picked up a little on bmwman91s thread... my rambling aside...
everybody's thoughts?

Saving money on group buys is always a great idea, lets hope we can get some going.

One group buy i'd be interested in is the strut tower brace(for those that don't have them), I don't know which company, but I've heard the sparco's are good quality brand and fit our cars almost perfect? Just though I should throw that out there.
