A DIY posted here for the e36 m42 mentioned an "oil pressure check valve" under a rubber gasket and in a hole on the block. This is for a head gasket job. My car is an e30 and we see no such rubber gasket or valve. Can anyone help? Urgent!

it is mounted in the oil pump housing/timing case

Hey sorry I meant oil pressure 'check valve'. Turned out the e30s don't have them. Spent an hour trying to find it for nothing!
