My check engine light came on and it is hard to start in the mornings.  A friend conected his code reader and it said 4E which is a coolant tempature sensor.  Where is it located and how do I get to it?

its under the intake manifold, you can probably do it without needing to remove the manifold or hoses. and you might not need to drain the coolant as the engine is tilted down on the other side, where the drain bolt is.
there's also the coolant temp switch on the passenger side of the radiator though i guess that wouldn't set off the error codes

i recommend buying from
http://www.rmeuropean.com/Part-Number/Temperature-Sensor-%28Coolant-Temp-Sensor%29-20-deg-C--2500-OHM-2-Prong-FI-Type-Connector-with-Blue-Insulator-__13621709966_FAE_10832E0B.aspx
but pelicanparts.com is where all the jackasses like to shop.
of course there's always the dealer if you're in a hurry.
