Title: FS:1991 BMW 318is 122k miles $6950/obo
Post by: phoebus on May 24, 2010, 10:48:25 AM: Up for sale is my 1991 318is in Silver with 122000 miles on the clock. The car has been well cared for throughout its life. I'm the 3rd owner and since I've had it I have replaced a number of parts as needed.
H&R springs
Koni struts and shocks
New Control arms and offset bushings
Supersprint Exhaust
new catalytic converter
new pads and rotors front and rear
front and rear calipers resealed
brake flush
newer BMW CD43 stereo
K&N air filter
electric fan conversion
full set of snow tires w/steel wheels
new valve cover gasket set
new thermostat
new chain tensioner

And I'd say that is a pretty fair price given the condition and such. I have almost that much in mine and although it is better in some ways, in others it is worse, so I'd say a fair price. Good luck on the sale and I really hope it doesn't go to some moron to do a swap...

Post by: phoebus on September 06, 2010, 10:47:46 PM: It is still for sale. It spent its whole life in Minnesota as a garage queen that didn't see any winters. The car has been here since October of 2009. There is no visible rust other than the little paint bubbles that just recently popped up on the left front fender near the headlight.
