Title: WOT test

Trying to get the stomp test to work ('91 e30).  The check engine light will flash once when I turn the key to pos2, but then stays off-stomp test won't light the light.  Light won't light up again until I recycle it by starting the engine and switching it off.  Still no stomp readings.  Is it possible the throttle sensor is bad?  What are the ohm readings supposed to be for WOT and closed throttle?  (Assuming that's the correct way to test the switch).
