 Okay so After i just fixed the Muffler and the 2 front stabilizer links, ($300 worth of parts and labor) the Differential is going out i guess. Which I'm not to entirely sure how to go about repairing or fixing, I have never messed with anything like this.
But I guess, anytime is a good time to start.
What happened
So the Problem started when i replaced the starter for a 2nd time, i had to pop the clutch on the car like 7 times before i had enuf time in the day to accually replace the starter, I dont know if poping the clutch is what lead up to the down fall of the pumkin... but anyways..
My car started to make a loud winding down vacuum noise plus when ever i started to accelerate from idling it made a suddle grinding noise. and the sound was coming for the rear end of my car, when ever i slowed down or took my foot off the gas. me thinking it was the breaks grinding or somthing drove the car like that for 2 days, then took it to a repair shop, the Pumpkin is leaking oil and i guess thats where the sound is originating from.
I had the guy put gear oil in it, drove off still made the noise...
So my question is, can some one tell me what the first couple of steps would be at approaching this? Ive never messed with this before. i know i have to replace the barrings inside of the pumpkin, but any help you guys might have would be great.
oo yeah how much would it cost to get a whole new one ha?
