Title: Thermostat stuck?
Post by: fayjai on April 09, 2010, 02:29:58 PM
Just finish replacing all the hoses underneath the intake, now trying to bleed the system but no coolant seems to bypass the radiator hoses (remains cold).  I am under the assumption that the radiator is stuck closed?  I may have reverse the coolant temp sensors connected to the block but even then, coolant should flow correct?

Any help greatly appreciated, need the vehicle running asap.

Are you overheating?

You can test the thermostat by dropping it in a pot of water on your stove. It should open just before boiling.
