Title: Can't get ECU case apart
Post by: gravyface on April 02, 2010, 12:51:00 PM
Gotta be doing something wrong, but I bent all the tabs up, and still can't pull it apart.  There's 4 large torx bolts on both top and bottom; on the bottom there's also 2 tiny ones.  Do they have to come out too?

Unscrewed the top torx screws; done deal.  I'm probably the only retard who couldn't figure this out initially (and was probably reading this a bit too literally: http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/techarticles/JF-Tech/BMW_E30_3_Series_performance_chip_install.htm)
