sounds like a lot of gain for a little money. im interested, is there a place i can find more info, user testimonials stuff like that. no offense but i havent heard of you guys before, just trying to get a better understanding of your work.

I'm working solo, and im new to selling chips. I'm a self taught expert in motronic systems. I have been test tuning the M42 for almost 2years now. The big thing im working on now is a AFM to MAF conversion chip.
-
I have a 10psi turbo base tune for the m42 in case anyone is interested. Please email me at [ails

bmwconnect is it possible to increase a little the idle speed? Most M42s don't have a silk-smooth idle and increasing it by 50-100rpm would be nice I think.

That is something I would have to do in person.
-
So it can be done right?
-
yes it can. I haven't played around with idle to much on the m42. Purity odd request

will this work on a 93 318is with cams?

Yes what cams are you running? What RPM limit do you want?

OBD1 BMWCONNECTIONS PERFORMANCE TUNES
Can you please tell me the adress of the number from which the Max RPM is calculated from?
I realise that you invested a lot of time in understanding of the DME code but I will use this information for personal use only, I'll make no profit from this.

you can goto my website .

Thank you very much, lots of good info there. :)

I've bought the stage 1 chip about 2 months ago and love it! It's great! Service was excellent and got the chip fast. I did notice a slight increase in fuel economy, and my M42 is more gutsy. now using the full 7k on the tach, a lot more fun! a good chip at an affordable price, at it's not a copy of another chip.
Great job, keep it up

OBD1 BMWCONNECTIONS PERFORMANCE TUNES
OBD I BMW's:
Stage 1: 12-15hp, 7000rpm Promo Price $30us + shipping Reg $42us
Stage 2:(RACE GAS) 20-22hp, Custom revlimit Promo price $60us +shipping Reg $75us
One quick question. The extra power where does it comes from mostly: air to fuel ratio, ignition advance or the ~500 extra rpms?
Reving the engine just to 6500 how much extra power should be expected?
-
Depends, e30 m42 I add Ignition advance and take fuel away a very small percent. E36 m42 with disa I add Ignition advance and add very small percent of fuel
-
Is your special introductory M42 chip price still available?
-
Prices updated ! I have been very busy with in house tuning so I did not have time to update this thread but I am happy to say I have sold over ten units from this site. Unfortunately at the promo price I was selling myself short and I have to adjust pricing accordingly. I look forward to further business with all of you
