Title: vacuum line removal replacement help
Post by: johnwoo on March 15, 2010, 12:31:00 AM
hey guys did the mess under the intake mod and in my haste i kinked a vacuum line and jacked up the line putting a tear in the rubber.  anyways its the line leading to the fpr from the throttle body.

it is number 11 in the pic.

is it ok to just remove it and replace it?  its not under any pressure with the fuel is it?  need this replaced so i can get the car to paint asap.  thanks.

Yes you can go straight ahead and replace it. I would obviously use the same diameter piping. There is no fuel pressure there.

You don't need dealer stuff for this line....

Standard parts store vacuum line- just take the old one to pick the right ID>
