Title: Florida people where are you?
Post by: carguy101 on March 08, 2010, 01:24:51 PM: Lets start a thread that lists where you are so we can get a Florida get together going. I see on other forums they have separate areas for different regions and such, why can't we have that on here? I see that there are quite a few people on facebook and are in Florida so why not? I see very few E30's and even fewer with M42's and oh I can't forget the love for E36's ;) I would like to see where the most of us are located so we can get a centralized location. Or if we want to have a weekly meet in an area that could be sub-regioned, if that makes sense, like a Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, etc... On other forums there is a phone number thread i.e. Floridagerman.com Thoughts?

Great car, just not a good car.
He may get it to Orlando, if it runs for one month without walking home. He goes to UCF.

We are going to change locations for the Tuesday night meets from Wild Wing Cafe to the Tilted Kilt in Tinseltown. It is just across the parking lot lol. They are willing to give us a) reservations and b) a 10% discount on food. The table should be ready by 630 so hope to see you there!

I have a few friends with e30s in the area and we meet up among other car guys weekly and a few times a month we have 5-6 e30s in the same spot. Given the lack of a publicity of the huge car community in my area, this is pretty neat. It's all underground, kinda cool because you have to work your way into the ring of invites and knowledge of events so it feels kind of exclusive almost. IDK, new years beer may be taking a toll.
