Title: tiny water/coolant leak e30 318is

this morning i notice a small coolant leak/tiny leak dripping off manual transmission block. my car was parked over night on down hill sloap  the front of car facing downhill. is there a coolant line running into manual transmission block??????

Wow that's interesting because as far as I know coolant doesn't travel into the transmission! I know I have a TINY leak from one of the hoses coming off of the engine block that never drips unless I raise the car in which case it drips off of the transmission, but if your car was pointed down that would be wierd. I wonder if it ran back onto the transmission when you went up the hill then dripped off when you went over the hump of the hill and pointed down? How long has it been since the hoses under the intake were checked? Especially the plastic pipe that goes into the engine block?

There is a water hose that goes on the back of the head drivers side that you can check.

the engine block has a coolant drain plug located on back of engine , this is leaking, dribbling small amount of coolant, dripping off the transmission. a possible mystery water leak location.
