Title: euro style grills??

has anyone tried to make your own euro style grills with the us grills???
just wondering im going to try to make them this weekend if i end up going to the yard to get some grills.....
do you guys think it would work???
just like filling the space thats cut on the us grills with spare grills?

ive seen it done. and it looks terrible. fibreglass and e-tape.


id just buy grills there cheap if you look. but US are 5$ a pair so give it a shot.

i thought of doing it for while just didnt know how it would look...buti wouldnt use fiberglass, although i have access to fiberglass and plastic..
i thought of using epoxy to glue it and then just smooth it out...
ill give it a shot theres plenty of grills at the yard if i fuck it up lol

I've seen pics of black plastic edging withe a u-shape cross-section run all the way across the entire top rung and it looked fine...  ymmv

If you just register on the UK's http://www.e30zone.net (largest E30 community on the planet basically) most people have euro grills knocking about somewhere and would happily ship to the US. No need for replicas!
Have a look in the for sale section - theres like a whole page of adverts added to that section each day. Tonnes for sale.
