Title: wtt m50 with s50 cams for complete m42

looking to trade a 94 m50 with s50 cams and e34 oil pan. has the wiring harness on it. ran great when pulled but had a slight timing chain noise when cold so i would just put a new chain set up in it and you are good to go. it has the whole engine harness still on it. looking for a complete m42 with transmission to swap into my '75 2002. im located in maryland. thanks for looking

any idea on mileage on the m50? was the head freshend when cams were installed?

im pretty sure it had around 140000 but ran great and didnt use any oil or smoke. the cams were installed on the engine with nothing else. i have a transmission that can go with it too. all you would need for the swap in an e30 is the ecu which you can find used for $75.

I've got one I'd be interested in trading. Complete. Wiring harness and ecu still intact. Also have a transmission.  E30 M42.

Just removed a couple of months ago. Running and shifting great.

Higher uncertain mileage.

I'm in Minnesota though so we'd have to figure out how to do a swap.

man minnesota is on the other side of the country for me. it just doesnt seem feasable to ship the engines that far i would have $400 in shipping alone to get it to you:(

nobody wants this thing? im not looking for a mint m42 swap, just one that runs good and doesnt have over 180,000 on it. dont need any of the accesories either

Too bad you are so far away, I got a couple of m42's lying around and need  m50/52 stuff now.  I got one with 80k on it if you feel like taking a drive ha

there is one 3hrs from you. 91 318is. it ran when it came in the yard. minus the ecu and valve cover but i can hook ya up on those items. i was gonna pull it my self but the mrs said if i drag another motor home im getting divorced.
