Title: 90k miles m42 feeler [East Can.]
Post by: popi-dude on February 14, 2010, 04:15:12 PM
Hey there, i'm putting a feeler on my m42 engine. It is currently in a 1991 318is. Runs strong and doesnt leak a drop. It has 90 k on the clock.

I'm only going to sell this engine if I have a good price for it so i can swap an m50 in my e30.

I'm thinking of 800$ OBO.  I have no pictures at the moment but i'm willing to take some when i'll go to the garage where the car is stored.

Thanks, and sorry for my bad english.

You have an m42 with 90.000 miles on it?
Where are you in eastern canada ?
Anyone know if there are any differences between us and canada? I don't think so . I'm sure there will be some interest .Maybe cheaper than doing the timing chain on my motor of 206,000 miles.
Good luck

I'm in the Quebec province, yes my m42 has 90 000 original miles on it. I may include the tranny also.
