fuel pump replacement, i cant seem to find anythig on previous forums. is this a farily easy task??

Yep, it's pretty easy. Just a bit annoying. Pull the rear seat bench up at the front corners really hard. It'll unclip on both sides. Lift the carpet a little to pull the felt liner out. Then unbolt the large black access cover on the passenger side. Under that you'll see the hoses and pump housing.
I'd clean the area well and test the pump from the battery. It might not be bad...they have connection & wiring problems sometimes, or the crank pos sensor isn't triggering the pump relay.
If the pump is really dead, you'll have to pull it out. If you're swapping it because it's noisy I like to pull the FP relay & run the car until it stalls to cut down on high pressure fuel in the lines. Less to clean up.
Unplug the sender & pump connections. Loosen the hose clamps & pull the hoses off. Remember where they go.
Unscrew the fuel sender, remove it being careful to catch fuel. Then spin the pump housing counter-clockwise IIRC. Don't bang on it with a screwdriver. I like to use a wooden dowel if it's stuck. Wiggle the pump housing out. It'll come out, don't worry.
Then just work in reverse to replace the pump.

What he said. You can also replace just the pump. Someone sells a kit with everything you need but the soldering iron. It takes about 15 minutes to do.
