Hi, as I have access to a damaged 320I and wouldn't want it to slip through my hands if I could put any parts to use on my engine.
Are there any 2.0L 6 cyl parts I can use on my car?
I'm stripping out the useful trim parts and wheels etc already :)

IDK. We didn't get the baby six here. I'd bet on starter, alternator, PS pump, etc. A lot of the little sensors will be similar too, coolant temp, o2 sensor, thermo switch, likely the radiator, etc. Injectors might be worth a check to see if they flow a few more CCs than the M42.

Ok thanks dave :) This one's an auto, I do wonder about the 2.0, why not go straight to 2.3 and 2.5...

Smooth...and you can't have the little engine making too much power, can you? Models have to be differentiated. I'll bet the cost difference in taxes is driving BMW's market decisions.
We did see a few 2.0 sixes...the e21 320i/6 made it here gray market. It's so much harder to get the fun Euro stuff any more. I'll be over in a few years for an e30 estate though...when cool old Euro cars turn 25, we can import them with fewer restrictions.

Might have a light single-mass flywheel.

It does rev a lot faster than my m42 when you floor the throttle, so maybe

Well i've stripped off the front end damage and the chassis looks fine so I'm buying it for £120 :). The impact was a quite low speed and miss the front crash bar/bumper completely. I should be able to repair this car for a couple of hundred quid then either donate it to my dad or sell it.
Already bought a slam panel off eBay for £20 delivered :)
Needs a bonnet, headlamps + indicators, grille panel, AC fan, engine fan, maybe a new left wing - only light damage, plastic cowls and covers.
