I already have a thread as my user name so I am posting a second one for my girlfriends new used car.


I bought this car for her cause I really got tired of working on her 90 integra. Nothing makes since one that car compared to the M42.

I found this lady in Stockton selling a 94 318i 5spd for 3K with 185k miles. I call her up and ask for the vin and to veiw the car.

Carfax says it has an accident on recored but its a clean title. KBB says in excelent condition the car is worth 2,200 or something close.

She said the accident is from when they first got the car, her husband rear ended some truck. Only damaged bumper, headlights and grill (paper work to prove what was damaged).  Her husband took the money from the accident and put lowering springs and shocks with some ebay strut tower bars and some 16s.

I asked the lady what springs and shocks but she didnt know. She said "you would have to ask my husband but he would ask why. He doesnt know Im selling it. I divorced 2 months ago."

She sold the car to me for 2,200.

Any ways the car rides and drives wonderfully. Just a little slow. I forgot how slow the M42 is when not turbo'd.

Here are some pics. I already removed A sticker from the windshield that said "///M POWER". Now the M3 emblem has to be removed from the trunk.

you should take the m3 badge off of the back of it

Damn! An M3 for $2200!!! Helluva deal bud.
